To ensure food safety we get our products tested for microbial counts & pesticides in globally recognized third-party labs like Eurofins, SGS &TUV. The products are tested for the presence of pesticides as per the USDA 561 list of prohibited pesticides and European Union Minimum Residual limits (MRLs) on pesticides. When pesticides are found below the level of detection (LOD) we accept products as Organic in addition to relevant certifications & for microbial counts, our products comply with microbial limits as specified by the American Herbal Product Association (AHPA) to prevent and control biological hazards. We generally test total plate count (TPC), Yeast and mold, E Coli & Salmonella in our products. Hence, this product is generally recognized as safe.

This product contains Ash value not more than 5% as more ash value indicates impurities or addition of inorganic metal salts in the product. Ash value is the residue remaining after incineration of the drug or plant part. Ash value represents the amount of inorganic salts naturally occurring in the ingredient and adhering to it. It also includes inorganic matter which helps to identify adulteration. Hence, ash value is important.

Loss on drying is determined by heating the sample below its melting point in an oven and it includes all volatile matter including water content and solvents while water content is determined by the Karl Fischer titration method and it consists of only water i.e moisture content.

We accept ash value below 5% because more content of ash value represents more impurities or adulteration which adversely affects human health when consumed.
