True Cinnamon in many countries, Ceylon cinnamon is native to Southern India and Sri Lanka. It is usually tan brown and contains soft and tight sticks than cassia cinnamon. Ceylon cinnamon has a mild sweet flavor used in desserts. Researches reveal that it contains a low level of coumarins, a compound responsible for blood thinning, and also low levels of cinnamaldehyde. Apart from this, cinnamon has bioactive constituents present in it, and believed to possess antioxidants, and astringent effects beneficial in improving overall digestive health.

In order to prevent and control biological hazards, we ensure that microbial parameters in our products comply with microbial limits as specified by the American Herbal Product Association (AHPA). We generally test total plate count (TPC), Yeast and mold, E Coli & Salmonella in our products.

California’s Safe Drinking Water & Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 is commonly known as Proposition 65 (Prop 65), which establishes a list of chemicals that the state of California's risk assessment process has determined to present a risk of cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. We ensure our products are free from such toxic chemicals or within required residual limits.

We test total heavy metals, lead, arsenic, mercury, and cadmium in our products. These heavy metals by numerous studies are purported to be toxic for human consumption beyond certain limits and are known carcinogens. We also ensure that our product complies with California prop 65 regulations for lead content below 0.5 ppm levels.

No, we do not accept organic material having pesticide content. Our Products are tested in globally recognized third-party labs like Eurofins, SGS &TUV. The products are tested for the presence of pesticides as per the USDA 561 list of prohibited pesticides and European Union Minimum Residual limits (MRLs) on pesticides. When pesticides are found below the level of detection (LOD) we accept products as Organic in addition to relevant certifications.

The mesh size we provide is generally between 40-80 mesh.

We accept ash value below 5% because more content of ash value represents more impurities which adversely affect human health when consumed.

The end application of the product generally helps in determining which mesh size is suitable to buy. Preformulation studies will help in the selection of particular mesh size. The mesh size is an important factor when the product will be subjected to further processing like encapsulation, tablet making, etc.

Ash value is the residue remaining after the incineration of the drug or plant part. It represents the number of inorganic salts naturally occurring in the ingredient and adhering to it. It also includes inorganic matter which helps to identify adulteration. Ash value greater than 5% is an indicator of the addition of inorganic metal salts in the product.

We provide organic Ceylon cinnamon powder with moisture content below 5%. The moisture content of the product facilitates the growth of microorganisms in the product which is directly proportional to alleviating the risk of biological hazards.  Moisture content below 5% in our product ensures better control of microbial growth and in turn, increased shelf life.

Genetically modified organisms may pose significant and challenging risks to food safety. We do not accept Ceylon cinnamon powder from the farms and facilities where GMO crops are grown and processed.
