The flax plant is an annual plant that grows up to 4 feet tall and produces beautiful, blue flowers. The seeds are harvested in late summer or early fall by either pulling the entire plant or by cutting off the seeds at the base of the plant. Once harvested, the seeds are dried and cleaned to remove any impurities.
