Product Use |
Saw Palmetto, also known as Serenoa repens, is a small palm tree that is native to the southeastern United States. It can grow up to 10 feet tall and thrives in sandy, well-drained soil in warm, humid climates. The berries of the Saw Palmetto tree have been used for centuries by Native Americans for their medicinal properties.
Today, Saw Palmetto is primarily produced and sourced from the wild in the southern United States, particularly in Florida and Georgia. The berries are harvested by hand in late summer and early fall when they are ripe and have turned a deep purple color. The berries are then dried and processed for use in various applications.
