Beet root is also known table beet, garden beet, red beet, dinner beet or golden beet. It is the taproot portion of beet plant, which is deep purple in color. It is a great source of folate (vitamin B9), fiber, iron, potassium, manganese and vitamin C. This is preferred to improve blood flow and balance blood pressure.
