Asparagus racemosus is a commonly known species of asparagus that is found across India and northern Australia. It usually grows in rocky soils in piedmont plains and measures 1 to 2 meters in length. It is a climber and its roots are tuberous and fibrous. It features small white flowers and globular blackish-purple berries. It is known to aid a number of hormonal and reproductive problems in women.
