Orange peel is the peel of an orange fruit that belongs to the family Rutaceae. This tree is native to Asia. The active components in this peel are monoterpenes, alpha pinene, sabinene, octanol, beta myrcene, valencene, 1,6-octdien-3-ol3,7-dimethyl, alpha terpineol. It has good nutritional value. It is a good source of vitamin D, vitamin C, vitamin B6 and minerals like calcium, potassium, and iron. It has many health benefits.
