Also known as Snake grass and Puzzle grass, which belongs to the family of Equisetaceae. This plant contains sterols, phenolic acids, and flavonoids like phytochemicals. Potent antioxidants are available in quite a good amount in this plant that reduces the harmful effect of superoxide and free radicle. It contains vitamins like thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, pyridoxine, folate, vitamin E, and K, and minerals like Magnesium, Calcium, Iron, Zinc, and Silica. This herb also contains excellent nutritional value.
