Gynostemma Leaf, scientifically known as Gynostemma pentaphyllum, is an herb native to Asia, particularly China and Japan. This herb, also called "Jiaogulan," has a long history of use in traditional herbal medicine. Gynostemma Leaf contains various bioactive compounds, including saponins known as gypenosides. These saponins are believed to be responsible for many of its potential health effects.
