Commonly known as the Maidenhair tree, Ginkgo, or Ginkgo that belongs to the family Ginkgoaceae. This tree is native to China and Japan. Kaempferol, meletin, isorhamnetin-like flavonoids, and terpenoids such as Ginkgolides A, Ginkgolides B, Ginkgolides C, and ginkgolic acid are major bioactive components present in this herb. Kaempferol is well known for its antioxidant properties. Ginkgo is an excellent source of Vitamins like Serie of Vitamins B, Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Vitamin E folic acid, and minerals. This herb is well known for its medicinal properties.

The botanical name is Gingko biloba.

In order to prevent and control biological hazards, we ensure that microbial parameters in our products comply with microbial limits as specified by the USP. We generally test total plate count (TPC), Yeast and mold, E Coli & Salmonella in our products.

As the most common pathogens are E. coli, Salmonella, and Staphylococcus, this product is free from all these pathogens. However, since pathogens can cause gastrointestinal diseases, for safety, we do microbial testing in certified labs and provide its reports for confirmation.

This is completely a GMO-free product. We do assure that no GMO product is used with the components and auxiliaries employed during the manufacturing process of this product.

We ensure that the product we provide is kept separated from each other in a suitable condition to maintain their authenticity and prevent any cross-contamination, which may pose a risk to food safety.

Here TLC (Thin layer chromatography) is used as extraction method.

The type of flavonoid in Ginkgo is called Ginkgolide. The types of Ginkgolides are A, B, C, J and M. Ginkgolide B is considered the most active. Other flavonoids present are quercitin and kaempferol. The other components are Amino acid-6hydrozykynurenic acid, Dimeric flavones (bilobetin, ginkgetin, isoginkgetin, scieadopitysin), Proanthocyanidins, ginkgolic acid, ascorbic acid, carotenoids and bilobalide. Its nuts contain essential oil, fatty acid, tannin and resin.
