Phenylpropanoid derivatives: trans-anethole and estragole, alpha-phellandrene, limonene, fenchone, and alpha-pinene are the major active components of fennel seeds. It is a good source of vitamins like vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, C, E, and K and minerals like Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc, Potassium, Selenium, and Iron.
