Production & Sourcing

Dandelion is a hardy perennial herb commonly found in temperate regions around the world. The production of dandelion typically begins with cultivating the plant in well-drained, fertile soil, often in open fields or gardens. Dandelions are known for their resilience and can grow in a variety of soil types and conditions. They are often grown without the need for extensive inputs, as they thrive in their natural environments.
Harvesting dandelion involves collecting various parts of the plant, including the leaves, roots, and flowers, depending on the intended use. The leaves are usually harvested in the spring and fall when they are most tender and nutritious. The roots are typically dug up in the fall or early spring when they are at their peak concentration of beneficial compounds. Flowers can be harvested throughout the blooming period. Harvesting is often done by hand to ensure the quality and integrity of the plant material.
