Product Use

Production & Sourcing

Coleus Forksholin is a tropical perennial plant native to Southeast Asia The plant is typically grown from seeds and requires warm, humid conditions with well-drained soil. It is usually planted in the summer and harvested in the fall. The leaves and roots of the plant are used to extract the active compound, forskolin. The extraction process involves boiling the plant parts, followed by drying and grinding to produce a fine powder. This powder is then standardized to contain a certain percentage of forskolin, typically ranging from 10-20%. The higher the percentage of forskolin, the more potent the extract.
