Also known as Winter cherry, Ajagandha, and Indian ginseng which belong to the family Solanaceae. This plant is native to Asia and Africa. Alkaloids, steroidal lactones, saponins, and withanolide are the major active components of Ashwagandha. It is a well-known ayurvedic medicine. It is very nutritious for health and has many health benefits. This root is rich in potent antioxidants that protect our cells against free radicals. Intake of this root is good for memory, brain health, endocrine system, and reproductive systems.

The biologically active chemical constituents of Ashwagandha include alkaloids (isopelletierine, anaferine, cuseohygrine, anahygrine), steroidal lactones (withanolides, withaferins), and saponins.

Ashwagandha is best known for its stress-lowering effects. According to a study, this medicinal herb appears to help lower cortisol levels, a hormone produced by our adrenal glands in response to stress.

This is a fine powder having greenish-brown to a brownish color with characteristic odor and flavor having not less than 95% through #60 mesh size.

As mentioned, 5% Withanolide is present, which is tested gravimetrically, as the presence of chemical components present in our product is tested in globally certified labs and can provide analytical reports for the content present in this product.

We test total heavy metals, lead, arsenic, mercury, and cadmium in our products. These heavy metals by numerous studies are purported to be toxic for human consumption beyond certain limits and are known carcinogens. We also ensure that our product complies with the California prop 65 regulations for lead content below 0.5 ppm levels.

Consumption of E.coli & Salmonella may pose serious health issues like stomach cramps, abdominal pains, nausea, etc. Hence, we do not provide any product containing E.coli or salmonella.

Genetically modified organisms may pose challenging risks to food safety. We do not accept Ashwagandha extract powder from the farms and facilities where GMO crops are grown and processed.

We get our product tested on microbial parameters, heavy metal parameters, and when all fall within a suitable limit & safe for human consumption, then we accept the product. The powder which we provide is safe for consumption.

Ashwagandha is partially water-soluble and partially fat-soluble, which means the plant molecules will bind with water and/or fat. As it is not 100% soluble in either medium, the powder will not dissolve but it will disperse enough to comfortably drink.
