Pausinystalia yohimbe is commonly called Yohimbe. It is resident in western and central Africa. Yohimbe tree is a medium-sized plant that belongs to the family Rubiaceae. Mainly the bark of the tree is used for many herbal medicines. Major active component of Yohimbe is yohimbine. Yohimbine is an indole alkaloid.  Yohimbine is also known as quebrachine.  Yohimbine is a dietary supplement. It is rich in antioxidants. It has many medicinal values.

The Yohimbe Bark Extract powder that we provide has a moisture content below 5%. The Moisture content of the product facilitates the growth of micro-organisms in the product, which increases the risk of biological hazards. Therefore, moisture content below 5% in our product ensures better control of microbial growth and, in turn, enhances shelf life.

We test total heavy metals, lead, arsenic, mercury, and cadmium in our products. These heavy metals by numerous studies are purported to be toxic for human consumption beyond certain limits and are known carcinogens. We also ensure that our product complies with California prop 65 regulations for lead content below 0.5 ppm levels.

The main phytochemical in the extract is the indologuinolizidine alkaloid yohimbine. It also contains other alkaloids, such as carynanthine and raubasine, with undefined properties. Yohimbine is one of the 55 indole alkaloids, it is the most active component among all alkaloids, which constitutes only 15% of the total alkaloid content. Others include rauwolscine, corynathine and ajmalicine, the bark also contains non-alkaloids.

Bulk density is the weight of a volume unit of powder and is usually expressed in gm/ml. Bulk density comes in two forms i.e tapped and untapped. The bulk density of Yohimbe Bark Extract Powder 2% Yohimbine is not less than 0.5 gm/ml.
