It also contains valerenic acid, beta-sitosterol, ursolic acid, 4, 4', 8, 8'-tetrahydroxy-3, 3'-dimethoxyl-dibenzyl-ditetrahydrofuran and caryophyllene acide, valerane, naphthalene, linoleic acid, ethyl ester, and myrtenyl acetate. Having many health-beneficial components, it is used as herbal medicine. It also aids in promoting the natural sleep cycle of the body and keeping away insomnia.
