However, it can be found in several other colors like yellow, green, orange, and purple. It contains lycopene, an antioxidant that helps to maintain a healthy life. Besides, it is an excellent source of vitamin C, folate, potassium, and vitamin K. Tomatoes are believed to be beneficial for heart and skin health. It is widely used in preparing a variety of cuisines due its wonderful taste and are one of the kitchen essentials in India.
