Also known as Asparagus racemosus or satavar, shatavari belongs to the asparagus family. Nicknamed as the “Queen of Herbs”, it is found across India, northern Australia, Africa, and China. Known as an adaptogenic herb, shatavari has essential calming and cooling properties. Packed with medicinal properties, Shatavari has been used as a primary ingredient in a number of Ayurvedic medicines since its inception.
