Belongs to the family of Fabaceae, Griffonia simplicifolia is a woody climbing shrub that is native to the western parts of Africa, it is an essential dietary supplement. The major active component of Griffonia is 5 Hydroxytryptophan. These seeds are a good source of potent antioxidants like polyphenol, and flavonoids that neutralize the harmful effect of free radicles and protect our cells from damage. These seeds of Griffonia contain a good amount of carbohydrates, protein, fats, minerals like iron, zinc, magnesium, copper, phosphor, manganese, and vitamins like tocopherol.
