Bacillus coagulans is a rod-shaped, gram-positive, anaerobic, spore-forming bacteria. It also produces lactic acid. It shows heat resistance. It can grow at a pH range from 5.0 to 7.0 and has a temperature tolerance up to 52 °C. Bacillus species are used in many pharmaceutical, agricultural, and industrial processes. Intake of this probiotic is good for the skin, stomach system.
