Bacillus coagulans is a beneficial bacteriuma. gram-positive, rod-shaped, facultatively anaerobic bacteria. Bacillus coagulans forms spores, giving it the ability to survive harsh conditions. It can also produce lactic acid. It shows heat resistance. It can grow at a PH range from 5.0 to 7.0 and has a temperature tolerance of up to 52 °C. Due to its hardy nature, Bacillus coagulans probiotic products typically have a longer shelf-life compared to other probiotics and generally do not require refrigeration. It is associated with many health benefits.
