Bacillus clausii is a rod-shaped, gram-positive microbe, mostly found in alkaline environments. It can grow in both the presence and absence of oxygen. This bacterium is also highly resistant to acid and bile, allowing it to survive in an acidic environment. It is a motile and spore-forming bacteria that is mainly isolated from soil. This bacterium produces protease. This bacterium is associated with many health benifits.
