Also known as Grey elm, Indian elm, Moose elm, Red elm, Sweet elm, Ulmus fulva, and Winged elm that belongs to the family Ulmaceae. The major active component is mucilage. This bark is very nutritious and rich in calcium, manganese, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, selenium, zinc, beta-carotene, and vitamins C, and B. It is rich in potent antioxidants that protect the cells from oxidative stress. Intake of this bark is good for gut, and skin health.
