The phytochemicals present in Cat’s Claw Root include oxindole, indole alkaloids, glycosides, organic acids, proanthocyanidins, sterols, triterpenes, glycosides, tannins, polyphenols, catechins and beta-sitosterol. It also contains rhynchophylline.

No, these two plants are completely different. As Cat’s Claw botanical name is Uncaria tomentosa and Devil’s Claw botanical name is Harpagophytum procumbens and they have different characteristics.
