Also known as great morinda, Indian mulberry, or cheese fruit, Noni fruit belongs to the coffee family, Rubiaceae. It has a strong odour and contains carbohydrates, fibre, and micronutrients like Vitamin C, niacin, potassium, iron, Vitamin A, calcium, and sodium. Noni is also packed with phytochemicals like lignan, oligo and polysaccharides, flavonoids, and bita sitosterol. It is known widely for its plethora of health benefits.
