Also known as mango, that belongs to the family of Anacardiaceae. It is mainly cultivated in Bangladesh, Myanmar, & India. It contains unique xanthanoid like mangiferin, carotinoid like provitamin A compound, beta carotene, lutein, polyphenols like quercetin, kaempferol, caffeic acid, catechin, etc. It is a good source of magnesium and potassium.
