Ascorbyl palmitate is a synthetic product that is produced from the combination of Ascorbic acid and palmitic acid. It is fat-soluble and is more bioavailability than normal Ascorbic acid. It is used in the food industry as a food additive because of its antioxidant property and is also used in cosmetic industry special in skin care products.
